I don’t know why anyone would ever proudly identify as a conservative. It’s basically saying “Yes, I am dreadfully fearful of cultural change and flagrantly oppose progressive thinking!”
I feel like thats a thing you’d want to be quiet about.

Although I agree with this, I would like to point out that to some people, keeping things the same is “safer” because its familiarity. Much like some people don’t like moving, or traveling. Even if it is to a better suited home or neighborhood. It is then simply applied to political/cultural thoughts.
Trust me, I’m fully aware of what this sort of thinking implies. But that doesn’t stop me from thinking that it’s stupid.
I just wanted to clarify sorry haha. Too many people have this sort of air about other opinions. They do not fully understand why it is someone thinks a particular way. It is that ignorance that fuels a lot of unneeded hate >.>
